Hazmat Information

Transporting hazardous materials is made easy with Central Arizona Freight. The shipment of hazardous materials has become an ever-increasing and ever-changing concern. All employees have gone through a hazardous materials training course to keep them informed of these changes. We make sure the handling of all materials is done in compliance with state and federal hazardous material regulations. These state and federal regulations not only apply to the carrier, but to the shipper as well.

When shipping hazardous materials, it is important to know the regulations that apply. We have included a Hazardous Materials Compliance List (see below) which outlines in general terms what is expected of the shipper. Keep it as a handy reference. Non-compliance is a serious matter for all of us. The professional staff at Central Arizona Freight is here to assist in all hazardous material compliance needs.

This checklist is not inclusive of all hazardous material regulations. For further information please contact our Corporate Safety Department at 1-303-289-4494.

*Information for this checklist was taken from the Code of Federal Regulation-Transportation, Parts 100-177, Revised March 1, 2000.
